About Keith Paluso
Keith Paluso is a Southern Soul, Folk, and Americana singer-songwriter from the Memphis, TN area. He graduated from Munford High School and earned a degree in Biology from The University of Tennessee at Martin, which later led to his career as a Park Ranger. He is an Eagle Scout and has served as a Scoutmaster to help develop character and leadership skills in young people. He currently lives in Tipton County, TN.
During Keith's time as a TN State Park Ranger, Keith spent the majority of his working time in management and emergency response, but he and his wife spent the majority of their free time as environmental educators and wildlife rehabilitators. Keith is known for his enthusiasm about nature and the outdoors and has been sought out as a speaker for events.
The past few years of Keith's life has been filled with many changes. From long days and nights serving as a Tennessee State Park Ranger, to welcoming into the world his first child, to rekindling a lifelong passion for music, to very quickly appearing on NBC's The Voice, Keith and his family have learned that sometimes in life you just have to follow a dream and do what it takes to make things work.
Keith draws upon a variety of artists as influences for inspiration. Some of those artists include:
- Martin Sexton
- Marc Broussard
- JJ Grey and Mofro
- Bonnie Raitt
- Jason Isbell
- Susan Tedeschi
- Donny Hathaway
- Otis Redding
- Nathaniel Rateliff
- St. Paul and The Broken Bones
Not long after his time on The Voice, Keith was hired as the new lead singer for 10x Grammy nominated, 3x Grammy winning jazz/rock/blues fusion band - Blood, Sweat, and Tears, and has been touring internationally with them ever since in addition to writing his own music and playing solo shows in the Memphis, TN area.
A dedicated independent artist, Keith has recently launched his own personal record label that is supported by his fans on Patreon. Long-term plans for Grassbird Production involve production of Keith's music and videos, as well as collaborations with other artists.
